You don’t need to become a different person to be a writer.
You don’t need more discipline, confidence, or credentials.
You need space.
You need companionship.
You need somewhere your writing can breathe.
The League of Exploratory Writers exists for people who feel called to write—and want to do it in a way that feels honest, sustainable, and connected.
It’s not about publishing faster.
It’s not about perfect drafts or loud opinions.
It’s not about competing for attention.
This is a place for:
writers who think deeply
business owners who want to write with meaning
creatives who crave reflection
humans who feel more themselves when they write
Here, writing is both craft and self‑discovery.
You’ve been saying:
“I want to write, but I don’t know where to start anymore.”
“I miss writing the way I used to.”
“I want community, not comparison.”
“I want my words to feel like me.”
The League is structured, but gentle. Supportive, but spacious.
Here’s what you’ll find:
Second and fourth Sundays | 10am–12pm
Guided writing time with community presence—no pressure to share, no requirement to perform
Personalized encouragement, reflection prompts, or gentle nudges—because writing thrives when someone notices.
E‑guides, PDFs, reflection worksheets, and writing frameworks you can return to again and again.
One book every three months.
Thoughtful discussion. Plenty of time to read (or reread, or skim).
A calm, curious space filled with people who:
ask good questions
read thoughtfully
encourage without fixing
No posturing. No pressure.
Five prompts per week.
To spark ideas, reflection, and momentum—perfect for journaling, blogging, or social content.
Topics like:
finding your writing voice
reflective writing
storytelling for connection
building a sustainable writing practice
writing for blogs & social media without burning out
Some are live. Some are recorded. All are thoughtful.
If you use writing in your work, the League supports you too.
You’ll learn how to:
turn reflection into content
write blogs and captions that feel natural
share your ideas without sounding like everyone else
repurpose what you’re already writing
This isn’t content for content’s sake.
It’s writing that means something.

Come write with us.

This table was made for writers like you...
I'm thrilled to have you join our vibrant community of writers, where imagination knows no bounds and every voice is valued. Whether you’re just starting your writing journey or you’re a seasoned author with a thriving business, you’ll find a nurturing space here that supports your growth and self-discovery.
As a child, my world was a blend of sports, tree-climbing adventures, and a profound love for books. Whether I was sneaking in a read at the dinner table, huddled beneath my covers with a flashlight, or wandering through the forest, books were my unwavering companions. They offered an escape from life’s harsh realities, and I cherished every moment spent soaking up their wisdom. One of my prized possessions in middle school was the Encyclopedia Britannica, its pages a gateway to the vastness of knowledge. I believed that once I absorbed it all, I would possess the key to knowing everything.
My academic journey includes a degree in English Language and Literature, a postgraduate degree in Journalism New Media, and a diploma as a Personal Support Worker.
As a writer, I thrive in a world where imagination reigns supreme. I often find myself with my head in the clouds, crafting dialogue in the silence and uncovering adventure in the mundane. Specializing in both creative and business writing, I excel at capturing the essence of you or your brand in a way that draws others in and compels them to join the journey.

Words from Retroscripts Writing Program Participants
"This workshop was everything I was hoping for and more. Kimberley’s natural way of animating the workshop creates a space in which you feel both comfortable sharing – no matter your level – and inspired. I loved how each activity was designed to stimulate your imagination and develop your writing skills. This workshop gave me insight and confidence. And more importantly, it made me re-discover the joy of writing."
"I’ve always enjoyed writing, but over the past decade have done more technical writing for work than anything creative. The Life Unleashed Writing Workshop presented by Retroscripts gave me an opportunity to flex my creative muscles, with supportive group sharing and guidance from Kimberley. Her preparation and writing exercises provided skills that I can use in any type of writing I might do in the future, and the small class size allowed everyone the opportunity to share what they’re doing, or what they’re feeling challenges producing. A great program to get back into writing, or explore a new area of yourself!
"The Components of Book Writing Course (from concept to publication and promotion) was a very informative and highly recommended course for those in the editing and publishing stages of their book. Through her expertise, Kimberley encourages and motivates you to prepare for promoting and publishing your book to the best of your ability! She provides you with a variety of resources and connections, including guest speakers that inspire your ability to complete and achieve success. I would definitely take this course if you are serious and determined to produce your work, you will feel accomplished"
